The Group Managing Director of ipNX Nigeria, Ejovi Aror, has been honoured with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the 21st edition of the Titans of Tech Awards, held on Friday, July 25, 2025, at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos. This accolade recognises his pioneering contributions to the development of indigenous telecommunications infrastructure and broadband adoption across Nigeria, the country’s digital revolution and his instrumental role in transforming ipNX into one of the country’s most respected ICT trailblazers.
The high-profile event was attended by industry leaders, government officials, representatives from the Nigerian Communications Commission, and other stakeholders in Nigeria’s digital ecosystem. The award was presented by Senator Iyiola Omisore and received on Ejovi’s behalf by Oluwaseun Oluboyo, Chief Technology Architect at ipNX Nigeria.
In his acceptance remarks, Mr. Oluboyo thanked the organisers and emphasised that the award represents more than just Ejovi’s personal journey. “It reflects the collective effort of many who have shared in our vision for a digitally empowered Nigeria — especially the remarkable team at ipNX,” he said. “Connectivity is a gateway to endless possibilities — to education, to innovation, to prosperity — and that belief continues to guide everything that we do.”
Ejovi Aror’s recognition underscores an exceptional career that spans more than three decades in Nigeria’s ICT sector. Under his visionary leadership, ipNX has evolved from a fledgingt telecommunications start-up into a national ICT powerhouse, delivering cutting-edge connectivity and technology solutions to homes, SMEs, enterprises, and government institutions. Beyond business growth, Ejovi has championed numerous impactful, tech-enabled initiatives focused on education, healthcare, and public sector transformation.
Ejovi began his career at Telnet Nigeria Limited, rising rapidly through the ranks to become Managing Director of iTECO Nigeria Limited, a Telnet subsidiary, within eight years. He was thereafter appointed Group Managing Director of ipNX Nigeria, and has since steered the company to unprecedented growth. He holds a first-class degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, a Master’s degree in Engineering Communications from Brunel University, England, and an Executive MBA from the Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University.
Beyond ipNX, Ejovi is a highly respected voice in Nigeria’s broader ICT and corporate landscape. He is the Chairman of Telnet Nigeria Limited, Managing Director of Techinvest Ltd, and sits on the board of Interswitch Group, among others. In recognition of his broader contributions, he was recently named a Digital Economy Enabler at the Nigeria’s Top 50 Digital Economy Enablers Awards.
Ejovi shared the spotlight with another distinguished honouree, Senator Ayodele Arise, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Privatisation (6th Assembly), who was recognised for his pioneering role in establishing the first third-party processing facility in sub-Saharan Africa — paving the way for card-enabled financial transactions in Nigeria.

In a double win for ipNX, the company was also named Premier ICT Solutions Provider of the Year, solidifying its position at the forefront of innovation in Nigeria’s digital landscape. The award follows ipNX’s previous recognition as the Most Innovative Digital Connectivity Company at the 20th edition of the Titans of Tech Awards.
Accepting the award on behalf of the company, Segun Okuneye, Deputy Director, Strategic Business Initiatives at ipNX, said:
“We are honoured and excited to receive this recognition. It’s a powerful testament to the creativity, resilience, and commitment of our entire team. Every day, we are driven by a shared vision to shape the future — today — by delivering transformative technology solutions that empower individuals and businesses across Africa.”
